A 45 year old parent has been charged after a 12 year old was not wearing a seat belt.
On August 13th at around 2:30pm, Wellington County OPP was conducting a ride program on Orangeville Road in Fergus.
During this, a 45 year old from Regina was charged after their 12 year old child was seen not wearing a seat belt.
The accused was charged with Driving While Passenger Under 16 Failure to Properly to Wear a Seat Belt.
This comes with a $240 fine.
