Red Cross and Armed Forces Touchdown in Alberta

Canadian Red Cross and Armed Forces have touched down in Alberta to help the ongoing surge of COVID-19 cases in the province.

Health Minister Patty Hajdu spoke at a conference on Friday saying the military would be enroute to Alberta to assist with the surge of cases.

Health care workers in Newfoundland and Labrador are also heading to the province who have volunteered their time to the northern town of Fort McMurray.
