An act of kindness in Millbank quickly turned into chain of events of more love of giving back.
A man who won a $35 gift card to Anna Mae’s Restaurant and Bakery decided to help give back by instead returning the gift card wishing it to go to someone who would be in need.
When another customer entered to pickup pies to donate to the shelter they volunteered at, Amanda from Anna Mae’s had the idea to donate the gift card to her to support the shelter.
Amanda hopes this will help spark more random acts of kindness.
“It just goes to show how one act of kindness has spiraled into helping many others and I’m sure this will be inspiring to many more to do things to pay it forward and spread kindness around the community.’ said Amanda.
Amanda adds the shelter later called to thank her for the generosity. Something which all started with a 35th birthday celebration.
