Wellington-Dufferin-Guelph Public Health is warning residents of a scam targeting seniors in the area.
Callers from a 1-800 or 1-888 number identifying themselves as public health are attempting to offer a free Medic Alert Necklace in exchange for personal information.
WDG says to be wary of any call claiming to offer free products on behalf of them.
Public health will only contact you with respect to vaccination appointments.
