In response to two overdoses last week in Stratford, Huron-Perth Public Health is urging those who take drugs to protect themselves.
On June 30th Stratford Police responded to two separate incidents of overdoses where Narcan was used in both incidents.
Public health says those who use or if you know someone who does its important to carry naloxone which is available for free from all public health sites and local pharmacies.
Public health also says to start low and go slow, do not mix substances and avoid using drugs alone and have someone you trust and not use at the same time.
