Wellington-Dufferin-Guelph Public Health is reminding private well owners to test their water.
Public health says even it looks, smells and tastes fine your well water could still have harmful bacteria such as E. Coli.
Testing is free and made easy with the help of public health.
Testing should be done at least 3 times a year, especially in the spring.
A testing kit is available from public health with samples available to drop off.
