As e-scooters rise across the community, Wellington-Dufferin -Guelph Public Health is reminding the public about safety.
On January 1st, 2020 the province began an e-scooter pilot program which will end November 2029.
It also falls on each municipality to adopt the use of e-scooters.
Should they be permitted riders are reminded they cannot exceed 24km/hour, riders must be at least 16 years old and any riders under 18 must wear a helmet with e-scooters only being able to be one rider at a time.
