Province set to Appeal Superior Court Decision on Strike Down of Wage Cap Law Bill 124

The Provincial Government is set to appeal the Ontario Superior Court’s decision to strike down the wage cap law, Bill 124, on the grounds it violated the rights to free collective bargaining under the Charter of Rights and Freedoms.

The Ontario Nurses Association expressed outrage on the decision to appeal yesterday.

In the release they say that nurses and health-care professionals are beyond angry and frustrated that this government continues to defend the bill adding they are telling Premier Ford enough is enough.
