Province says Summer Camps will be allowed to open this year

The Premier announced yesterday while making a vaccination clinic stop West of Toronto that summer camps will be allowed to reopen this year. Further to that Ontario Health Minister Christine Elliott said this to the possible reopening of day and overnight camps in the Province.

“We are anticipating there may be other events, summer camps, golf, tennis, other things may be available as of June 2nd or maybe earlier. Depending on the clinic evidence we receive.”

Also announced by Minister Elliott was the possibility that some recreational amenities could soon reopen even prior to the expiry of the current stay-at-home order on June 2^nd.
