$115 million dollars has been earmarked for home based healthcare for those with high complex care needs patients who are currently in hospital.
$14.5 million dollars is being given to equip more doctors with remote medical equipment to support more rural and remote area.
$9.5 million dollars was announced for remote patient monitoring to allow patients to go online for routine checkups, symptoms monitoring, referrals and escalation where necessary.
And finally home care and community care workers will get $5 million dollars to take better advantage of virtual care technologies and limit face-to-face visits.
