A new survey conducted by Leger says the vast majority of Canadians support a system similar to Quebec which would require proof of vaccination against COVID-19 to access non-essential services.
76 per cent of those surveyed say they would strongly or somewhat support a system similar to a vaccine passport to what is being done in Quebec.
The system would apply to things such as bars, concerts and festivals where many would gather in a confined space.
Despite a wide approval across the country, many have still gathered in protest against the system which has been seen in cities like Montreal.
Ontario Premier Doug Ford has said previously he does not support vaccine passports.
