Police looking for Suspect in Fail to Remain Collision in Perth East

Perth County OPP are seeking the public’s help in identifying a driver who failed to remain at the scene of a crash on April 18th around dinner time.

Police received a report of the collision that took place on Line 33 and Road 107 in Perth East around 5pm.

The suspect vehicle was parked on the shoulder facing the same direction as the victim.

The victim reported that they came to stop at the stop sign on Line 33 at Road 107. When they began to accelerate through the intersection to make a turn, the suspect vehicle accelerated down the shoulder and began pulling in the live lane.

The victim collided with the suspect vehicle, which subsequently fled the area.

The collision caused damage to the victim’s vehicle but there were no injuries.

The suspect vehicle is described as a silver 4-door car. Police believe the vehicle will have damage to the driver’s side front door and wheel well area.
