An 18 year old is facing a total of 9 charges after a plate reader found a suspended driver.
On April 21st at around 4:15pm, Wellington County OPP was conducting traffic enforcement on Wellington Road 12 in Mapleton when the cruisers Automated License Plate Recognition notified the officer of a vehicle potentially being driver by a suspended driver.
A traffic stop was done where it was also found the vehicle was in an unsafe condition.
As a result, an 18 year old Priceville was charged with Driving Under Suspension, Operating without Insurance, Operating Unsafe Vehicle and Improper Tires.
The accused will appear in court in August.
