Pfizer Vaccine to arrive to Wellington Dufferin Guelph Public Health on January 4th

Wellington Dufferin Guelph Public Health announced today that they will receive their first shipment of the Pfizer Vaccine on January 4^th.

They will start limited vaccinations that day with the full program launching the following day.

All vaccinations for right now will occur at the Public Health Office in Guelph due to the storage requirements of the vaccine.

The Health Unit will start by vaccinating staff at Long Term Care and Retirement Homes in addition to essential caregivers in both settings before moving on to other high-risk healthcare providers as more vaccine stock arrives in the Region.
