Perth East & West Fire Transferring Emergency Dispatch Services

The Perth East and West Perth Fire Departments issues a joint Media Release today to advise residents in those areas that emergency dispatching services will be moving from the City of Stratford Fire Department to the Owen Sound Emergency Communication Centre as of Wednesday, January 5th, 2022.

If you have an alarm company monitoring your home or business you are asked to notify them of this change and have them contact the Fire Administration Area where you live to obtain emergency dispatch numbers.

If the Stratford Fire Department or Huron East Seaforth Station services your property there is no action that needs to be taken.

If you are unsure about the advisory they say to give them a call and they will check.

All emergency calls are still to be reported to 911.
