The project being undertaken is the expansion of natural gas into the area. The smaller project is part of a larger Phase 1 which will see 9000 customers from 16 communities receive access to natural gas.
The cost of the expansion will be defrayed from an existing $1 per month surcharge on all customers bills across the province, an expansion surcharge of 23 cents per cubic meter of gas used for those that connect up to the community expansion until the surcharge term ends and a grant of $814,850 from the Ontario Energy Board.
📢FYI to Brunner Residents ‼️
