Perth East is warning residents of attempted fraud involving town invoices.
The township says they are aware of these emails and invoices being sent to residents and businesses trying to claim to be from the township and request money.
The township says to not send money or banking info in response to unexpected email, not share phone numbers, email, links or bank info provided in a suspicious invoice and verify the request directly with the township with available contact information the municipal website.
