The Perth County Stewardship Program is returning for a second year supporting tree planting projects and forest management across the area.
Starting November 1st applicants can apply for funding which includes private landowners and community groups.
Three streams will be available including the Landowner Stream, Woodlot Stream and Community Stream.
Hannah Cann, Resiliency and Stewardship Coordinator for Perth County says the first year was very successful supporting 35 landowners and community groups in planting 14,955 trees and completing one forest management plan.
Following the success of the first year, the County has put forward $100,000 for the 2025 program.
