Perth County sees Expenses of over $180,000 for Warden and Councillors

Perth County Council at Thursday’s meeting received a Staff Report on Corporate Services that outlined the Remuneration and Expenses of the Warden and Councillors.

In terms of a breakdown by position, Warden, Deputy Mayor and Perth South Deputy Mayor James Aitcheson came out on top in terms of pay, mileage and professional development at $38,909.70.

Next after that was Rhonda Ehgoetz, Perth East Mayor at $20,900.67 and then North Perth Mayor Todd Kasenberg at $19,931.84.

The top 5 rounded out with Perth South Mayor Robert Wilhelm at $17,268.62 and Walter McKenzie, West Perth Mayor at $15,597.56.

In total pay, contributions and renumeration for the Council totalled $181,152.82.
