Perth County is remembering former county council member and Ellice Township Reeve Fred Knechtel who has passed away.
The County says Fred was deeply committed to his community and to municipal service who once he retired was honoured by Ellice Township council recognizing his many years of public service.
The county to honour his service have lowered flags at county facilities and will remain lowered until the day of his memorial service.
