Following a series of open houses across Perth County, the county’s Planning Division is taking the next steps on the new official plan.
4 meetings were held, one in each municipality to discuss the plan as well as hear comments from the public.
The Planning Division is now taking the comments and feedback received from the meetings and work to address concerns through policy revisions.
Manager of Planning Andrea Hachler says they’ve been working on the Official Plan for quite some time so it was great to get the public involved to review for the first time.
A report is expected to come to county council next month.
