Impaired drivers continue be a risk on roads across Perth County as officers charged 2 people over the course of one day.
The first occurring on October 29th at 3pm with Perth County OPP received reports of a vehicle driving erratically.
The vehicle was seen entering Listowel when a traffic stop was done. The driver was then arrested and taken in for further tests.
As a result a 32 year old Listowel resident was charged with Operation While Impaired.
Later at 11pm police stopped a vehicle in Perth East where signs of impairment were seen. After testing a 34 year old of South Huron was charged with Operation While Impaired.
Both were given a 90 day license suspension and 7 day vehicle impoundment. Both were released from custody with future court dates in Stratford.
