The North Perth Fire Department’s Monkton Station will soon be the host for the Perth County Mutual Aid Fire Department Water Games.
The event will be held at the arena in Monkton on September 10th starting at 11am with four different games taking place.
Among them include a bucket brigade race, a relay, hose race and a ladder race.
Dave Kloostra with the North Perth Fire Department says it’ll be a great to check out the games as Monkton only gets to host once every several years.
“It’s been a few years since we hosted it, COVID kind of shut them down for a while. Everyone in the county gets a turn so it usually takes 8-9 years before Monkton gets the chance to host it” said Kloostra.
There is no cost to attend with everyone invited out to check out the games between Perth County firefighters.
KC Street Eats will be set up offering food for those attending.
