Perth County is launching the next wave of applications for its stewardship program next month.
The program is a new grant aimed to support community groups and landowners with tree planting projects across the county.
Grants are available for both private landowners and community organizations.
The first phase of the stewardship program helps offset the costs of tree planting and forest health monitoring surveys for individuals and organizations.
Grant streams are open for new tree plots, forest rehabilitation, windbreaks, stream buffers and forest health check ups.
Applications will open on December 1st and close on January 19th.
Successful applicants will be notified in early February.
