Perth County residents are being reminded of the coyote sighting reporting tool available to them from the county website.
Perth County is continuing to collect data about coyote sightings and interactions to keep council informed on the presence of coyotes in the region.
Residents are reminded should they encounter one to never approach, remain calm, not turn your back and run and to stand tall, wave your hands and make plenty of loud noises.
If a coyote is posing an immediate threat or danger to the public you should call 911.
