Perth County council has approved the new County Official plan, outline the future for the county up to 2046.
Part of the new plan is a vision and strategy for cultivating new opportunities, building community and ensuring environmental health and intelligent informed land use decisions.
The multi year project first started in 2017 which came with 7 phases including public engagement, open houses, draft versions and background reports.
Perth County Warden Rhonda Ehgoetz says its been a long journey to reach this point and is grateful to the public for their continued engagement for the project.
