Perth County Beef Farmers are set to hold their annual meeting later this week at the Listowel Agricultural Hall.
Starting at 6pm on Wednesday with a complimentary beef meal, the meeting shortly after will including guest speaker Bruce Kelly from Farm & Food Care Ontario.
A discussion on emergencies on the farm is planned which dives deep into topic with issues such as what happens in the event of a barn fire, who would look after livestock should you be injured and how to respond to protesters who show up at your farm.
There is no fee to attend and is open to all cattle producers and those in the beef industry.
