The Royal Agricultural Winter Fair continues this week, running until November 13th with some local recognition shining.
Among it, includes the Perth 4-H Canadian Classic Team who took part in the closing ceremony for the Canadian 4-H TD Dairy Classic 100 Anniversary Show.
The team finished 2nd for their display and 10th Premier County.
Individual awards were also seen such as Jordan Hawthorne and Riverdown Marlon Aveeno who took 11th in the September calf class, Addison Hyatt and Spring View Maverick Britt, taking 1st in the Summer Yearling Jersey class.
Hawthorne also placed 5th overall in the Senior Showmanship Class.
Jackson Kaufman and Paullor Andreas Riviera took 6th in the Spring Yearling Jersey class and Rhett Terpstra and Bosdale Lambda Lusteria snagging 1st in the Summer Yearling Class and Honourable mention Champion Calf.
Kaufman also placed 23rd overall in the Junior showmanship place.
Terpstra also took the Justin Perish memorial Bursary Award.
The team was complete with 3 senior members who brought in previous experience alongside 6 new members.
313 4H Members were representing at the Dairy Classic for the 100th Royal Agricultural Winter Fair spanning across the country.
