The Ministry of Transportation is giving a boost to PC Connect.
The rural transit service is getting the tune of $749,000 for the PC Connect program with the funding made possible through the Province of Ontario’s Community Transportation Grant Program.
In a release Perth County Warden Rhonda Ehgoetz says the funding will continue to allow PC Connect to play a crucial role in the rural community ensuring accessibility and connectivity for all residents.
Since launching during the pandemic, PC Connect has provided over 34,000 rides.
