Minto, Wellington North and Mapleton Fire Departments have all issued a partial burn ban given the dry conditions.
All open air burn permits are suspended with no new permits being issued at this time.
Only recreational cooking and campfires will be allowed while the burn ban is in place.
The ban targets agricultural and brush pile burns with fines in place.
Residents are asked to take precautions to avoid grass and brush fires such as clearing dry debris, storing wood and propane tanks safely and properly dispose of cigarettes.
