Stratford’s parking fines have gone up.
Taking effect as of today the price hike has seen most $20 parking fines go up to $60 or $40 if its paid within seven days.
This will include parking on a specific street where parking is prohibited, parking within three meters of a fire hydrant or parking at an expired meter.
Parking on any street that obstructs traffic or parking in a school bus zone will bring in a $120 fine.
Parking in a fire route will now see a $300 fine.
