Michael Hurst of Palmerston has been found guilty on three counts of sexual assault.
The verdict came in at Guelph Superior Court just after 7pm on Monday.
Hurst had pleaded not guilty to the five counts of sexual assault he was facing on August 30th with his trail beginning on September 11th.
His charges stem from a period between 2017-2020 against two women he knew.
He was acquitted by the jury on two remaining counts of sexual assault charges.
This isn’t the first charge against Hurst who in December was charged of sexually assaulting two women and committing an indecent act in front of three women between 2007-2015.
He was sentenced to two years of house arrest and three year of probation in that ruling.
Hurst will return home to Palmerston where he remains until October 19th when he’ll be sentenced.
