The Palmerston & District Hospital Foundation has taken first place in the Growing Home with BASF contest.
The online contest had voters pick their organization of choice to help secure funding for vital projects which for the hospital foundation was geared towards the MRI campaign which continues to be in its home stretch of fundraising.
The foundation says its because of the voters and everyone who spread the word, they were able to claim the $25,000 first place prize.
