Centre Wellington is getting a boost to repair and improve roads in Fergus.
The province is dishing out $1,086,040 from the Connecting Links program to help resurface Tower Street South from McQueen Boulevard to Union Street and Bridge Street from Union Street to Queen Street.
Mayor Shawn Watters says as Centre Wellington continues to grow, investing in reliable transportation infrastructure is critical and this funding helps ensure the roads remain safe and efficent for residents, businesses and emergency services.
