With the Listowel 150th set to go for the long weekend, residents can chalk up another event adding onto the already packed weekend.
Come Sunday, the talent across Listowel over the years will be showcased at the Ouendake Theatre, formerly Theatre 311.
A lot of work has recently been put into the theatre and this event will act as an open house for all to see the newly renovated space done by new owner Christopher Malcolm.
Lorrie Nuhn with the Listowel 150 says while they have much to showcase, they could always use more.
“We have showcased all the artists that have come from our area and we also have memorabilia from the musicals that took place. We’ve invited people to come and celebrate the art and bring their scrapbooks, bring their memorabilia whatever they have hiding in their closet and add to what we have.” said Nuhn.
The Oeundake Centre Open House on Sunday runs from 1-4pm.
