The group say over the past weeks and months they have worked relentlessly in seeking information regarding the Provincial Government in regards to attendance capacity limits and additional restrictions for large events such as the IPM. To date they hadn’t received any of the necessary information to have the event happen.
They say planning is progressing well for the 2022 IPM in Kemptville as well as 2023 in Dufferin County and 2024 in Lindsay and the Kawartha Lakes.
This marks the second year in a row that the Ontario Plowmen’s Association has been forced to cancel the International Plowing Match and Rural Expo.
This year’s event had been set to be held at the Lindsay Exhibition Grounds and neighbouring farms in October 2021.
