While many people are familiar of the 911 line in life or death situations or a crime in progress, many others are unaware or hesitant to call the OPP non emergency line.
The number 1-888-310-1122 is monitored 24 hours a day from a communications centre in London and will connect you to your local detachment in the western region.
Perth County OPP don’t want to miss a call but since detachment phones are not monitored 24 hours everyone is encouraged to use the non emergency line.
