Yesterday, Thursday January 19th, the West Region TIME team along with Wellington County OPP and the Ministry of Transportation conducted a commercial motor vehicle inspection blitz in Arthur.
Of the 30 inspections completed, 22 charges were laid, and 11 commercial vehicles were taken out of service due to major defects.
The OPP reminds CMV operators about the importance of completing accurate pre-trip inspections, having necessary documentation, being aware of weight & load restrictions and ensuring regular maintenance and inspections are completed.
