The OPP is implementing changes to its Provincial Tow Program which will affect how Tow & Storage Operators apply to provide OPP-requested tow services in 2023.
Operators will now be required complete their own criminal record check which includes an agency letter acknowledging their requirement.
For the OPP Provincial Tow Program, the existing practice will be the same, with only approved operators to be on a detachment tow list to be dispatched.
Those looking to apply to be on an OPP Detachment Tow List must submit their application between September 1st and October 15th to be on the list for the following year.
