OPP investigate serious collision near Palmerston

On January 7th at approximately 9am, a Wellington County OPP officer came upon a serious collision involving two motor vehicles at the intersection of Wellington Road 8 at Wellington road 9 just south of Palmerston.

The collision involved a passenger van and a pick-up trick. Both vehicles rolled over trapping 2 occupants.

Mapleton Fire and Rescue helped extricate the occupants. Three people have been transported to a local hospital with serious injuries.

The cause of the collision is currently under investigation and Wellington County OPP is asking anyone that may have witnessed this collision to please call 1-888-310-1122.
