At approximately 5:30pm on March 7th Huron OPP, Huron County Paramedics and Goderich Fire Department responded to the crash scene located on Bluewater Veterans Highway (Highway 21) just south of Kitchigami Road.
Upon arrival first responders found two heavily damaged vehicles, a jeep and a pickup truck. They had ot free the trapped driver out of the pickup truck. The driver of the jeep managed to escape the wreckage before it caught fire.
Both drivers, a 19 year old from Bluewater and a 27 year old from Amherstburg sustained serious but not life threatening injuries.
