OPP charge Youth following Assault Allegation in Fergus

Wellington County OPP has charged a 14 year old male following an investigation into an incident at a Scotland Street address in Fergus.

On October 7, 2021 at approximately noon police were contacted by staff members at the Centre Wellington District High School regarding an assault.

Through the course of the investigation it was determined that a physical altercation occurred at the high school involving 2 students.

As a result, police arrested and charged a 14 year old Fergus resident with assault. The accused is schedule to appear at a Guelph court at a later date.
