The Ontario Professional Fire Fighters Association is refuting accusations made against firefighters jumping the COVID-19 vaccination line.
The Association is responding after 2.5 percent of the provinces firefighters have been vaccinated. OPFFA President Carmen Santoro says long-term care residents and front line health care workers are the main ones being vaccinated, but still hopes critical workers will also be getting vaccinated sooner than later.
Some fire fighters in Mississauga were vaccinated after an outbreak sidelined roughly 100 members of the department.
