On Wednesday, December at approximately 3:05pm Huron OPP received information about a vehicle that was travelling in an erratic manner on Hensall Road west of Seaforth.
Minutes later officers were able to locate the suspect vehicle parked at a residence on Hensall Road.
Officers were able to identify the driver and upon speaking with her they noted she was displaying signs of impairment.
The driver was arrested and transported to the Clinton OPP detachment for breath tests.
The driver supplied 2 samples of her breath to the Intoxilizer Technician and both tests were analyzed over the legal limit.
A 74 year old female resident of Huron East has been charged with operation while impaired and operation while impaired 80 plus.
She was later released from custody and will appear in a Goderich Court February 1st to answer to charges.
