United Way Perth-Huron has named Operation Organize as a Certified Wage Employer.
Operation Organize is a network of qualified and insured team members offering non medical solutions for seniors in Stratford and across Perth County.
In a release, Helen Dowd, owner of Operation Organize says seniors have been contributing to the community for decades and deserve to be treated in a respectful manner as they age.
Dowd adds, their team members deserve to have their contributions valued and offering a living wage is one of the ways to do this.
Perth-Huron’s Living Wage is based on a 35 hour work week, taking in factors such as costs of housing, food, utilities, child care and transportation.
The Living Wage is set at $17.95 per hour.
