Ontario to Move Forward with Highway 413

The Ontario government announced this morning in Caledon the plan to go forward with the construction of Highway 413.

Premier Doug Ford says the 400 series highways are clogged with grid lock and are not suitable for current residents and will not fit the trend of new residents who are projected to arrive the province within the next 5-10 years.

Ford adds the issue should have been tackled years ago.

Part of making Highway 413 includes paving a part of the Greenbelt, which Ontario Liberal Leader Steven Del Duca says is the wrong project for the wrong reasons.
