According to Premier Doug Ford, the province has reached a milestone in COVID-19 vaccine administered.
Thursday marked the one million mark in total vaccines administered.
Premier Ford also announced the plan to use AstraZenecas vaccine on residents aged 60-64 in Toronto, Windsor and Kingston as 194,500 doses are ready for use of the newly approved vaccine. Doctors offices will also start administering the vaccine this weekend in Hamilton.
The success of these pilot projects could set the tone for other health units to follow suite when they begin to receive the AstraZeneca vaccine.
