Ontario Officials Hope Every Resident Will be Eligible for a COVID-19 Vaccine Soon

The head of Ontario’s COVID-19 task force is hoping every resident in the province will be eligible for a COVID-19 vaccine by the first day of summer.

Retired general Rick Hillier says with the approval of new vaccines for use in the country and extending the interval between doses will help speed up the process to ensure everyone in Ontario will be able to be vaccinated.

A current timeline shows those 75 and older will be able to get vaccinated in April, those 60 and up in late May with those under 60 by June 20th

The current timeline doesn’t factor the Johnson & Johnson vaccine approval.
