The Ontario government will soon make it permanent to have the hourly wage increase given ti personal support workers brought during the pandemic.
The wage increase for health workers has been extended for months at a time since the pandemic first hit Ontario 2 years ago which is set to expire on March 31st.
Workers in long term care and community care will retain pay increases of $3 per hour with workers in public hospitals keeping their $2 per hour increase.
