OMAFRA to discuss “Security from Trespass & Protecting Food Safety Act” in Webinars Jan. 30th & Feb 3rd

OMAFRA is preparing to hold a webinar entitled “Security from Trespass and Protecting Food Safety Act” on January 30^th and February 3^rd.

The act covers the issues of trespassing on farms & other agri-food premises where farm animals are located.

It also deals with the issues of interfering with livestock transportation and how it poses risks to biosecurity and security of the food supply.

OMAFRA has developed a Fact sheet regarding the rules and will be discussing the contents on January 30^th from 2:30 to 3:30 pm and February 3^rd from 11 am to noon.
